Speedy with an identity crisis

G'day folks,

Got this little pearler a few months ago from our very own Fr John. Anyhow, I'm treating it a bit more like a PAM than a Speedmaster - hence the identity crisis. This watch has more shoes than I have (granted, this is not difficult)!

I've narrowed it down to these two:
1. A Hirsch Leonardo in black shark. Wears incredibly comfy, very durable with water resistant properties.
2. A Stone creek gator. Brown with a great texture. Custom made and fits the Omega clasp. Very classy.

I have attached some pics to aid your thinking.

A delightful wrist shot to finish this off:

Thanks

Greg

Both look pretty good, however I think it goes just a bit better on black.

I would use the steel bracelet, not fan of straps to the brown dial

I agree. Both look good but the black is the winner for me.

Black has my vote, I like both though (did anybody say that already? ).

I think the brown dial is nice but the rest of the watch isn't aged so the overall look seems off.

I think it's a relatively new model, not a vintage one. I like the brown better but both look good.

Love that chocolate dial

I don't care what you put on that watch - I can't see past that gorgeous dial. I wouldn't even know what time it was if you asked me! I would just stare at that dial, blind to the time.

Love it

Here you go mate, sorry for the cr*ppy iPhone pics.....normally a Rolex or PAM guy, but haven't been able to separate this combo from my wrist for the last couple of weeks, the CF style bund suits the watch perfect!

Speedy on some sort of black leather is my next watch. I know the movie has been out a while, but George Clooney wore one in The American. In one scene you get a good close-up. I imagine that eventually you will have both straps so you can change with your mood. I have multiple leather and rubber straps for my Sub Date. It's fun to switch things up from time-to-time.
