Hello to everyone. I need your help.
the AP panda from second hand sold.
Now I have 2 options:
buy AP rubber second hand Series G Purchased in 2009 for 11,750$ the watch with box+papers and Comes with six months warranty. Since I bought it from an AP authorized dealer. the watch in good Condition According to minor injuries in the Rubber bezel.
or the second Option:
to buy BNIB AP roo panda dial at 15,650$, also from the same AP authorized dealer in israel.
What would be a better buy? I just have the fear in me, since I'm not a rich man, What would happen if suddenly will have to sell...
On a watch lose less money?
I would like mention that i love the panda more, But anyway there is a difference of $ 3,900.

Shay, I have seen a few threads you have started about the AP watches and resale. If you are worried about resale then buy a Rolex ss Subc. The resale market is not a cert and depending where you live depends what your used watch will sell like i.e Hublot sell well in Mainland Europe, I know that is not the case elsewhere. As far as quality and looks of a watch go AP ROO are some of the best watches one can buy IMO.

If your finances don't allow you to risk any money, then you may want to consider scaling back. Watches are generally a losing proposition so get what you like AND what you can afford to lose.

Pas: maybe you should sell your Daytona for the AP?

But if you still want to buy AP , that brand new panda is the best price everywhere.

It is true for the Rubberclad. Go ahead and get the Panda and call it a day. I would not buy a Rubberclad with nicked up bezel. Sounds like all of your homework is complete so time to step up and pull the trigger.

I'm just afraid that AP it's just a passing phase ....like hublot...
am afraid to make money Junk. when you buy rolex you know that you not Lose a lot of you want to sell.

Just know that AP bezel replacements are VERY expensive so check it out carefully. I wouldn't say AP is a fad and even Hublot is getting better.

AP will never be like a Hublot. AP has been around since 1875 and is one of the top three in the 'Haute Horlogerie' world. You'll never go wrong with an AP. Just like Ken said, get the Panda!!!! Way more versatile than the Rubberclad in my opinion.

But I want to understand one thing:
at the end When I want to sell, the rubber Lose less? cecause he cost only 11750$ Which means it's already absorbed most of the decline in value, So how much longer he could still lose? On the other hand the Panda is another $ 4,000, So that means it will be used i already have a loss of at least $ 4000

Is it true?

Buy used and you will lose less if you sell.

But if you are thinking of selling it before you buy it, I would hold off for a bit, but that is just me.

A watch shouldn't be seen as an investment but something you'll enjoy every time you wear it. Buy whichever you like better or whichever you like and can afford.

I will always be fears Before purchase, Anyway this is a high amount...

I can buyt new for 15 ,650$ and for second hand want for me 14,650.
For $ 1000 I think it's best that i will be the man that Remove the plastic....

However, the msrp from an AD is very low compared with other parts of the world. If you are able to sell outside of your country, you may not take a very big hit in resale value.
