Rolex Submariner Date 16613 Two Tone Stainless Steel & 18K

On ebay. For an F serial # the box isn't even correct iirc. Fuzzy pictures. Zero feedback, first listing .......... Is this simply a noob eBay listing or fraud ? ? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

It smells. He will only accept a wire transfer not paypal. He even states ""We can't accept paypal" as if to imply he is a company. As you say zero sales is a real warning along with the shoddy photos.

And here is another hint it's a scam:

Please note: Due to prices above limits, we can only accept Wire Transfers. If you can't pay via wire, kindly don't bid.

International buyers & buyers with less than 5 feedback - PLEASE contact me before bidding

total BS.

If you look at the bidders you'll see that the high bidders aren't high feedback people either. I wouldn't bid on this watch unless I felt like throwing money away for nothing. No one will back you if you send a bank transfer. At least PayPal will give you your money back if the person is a creep.

Not enough detail to validate the watch. But IMHO, if a scammer was planning a scam, he'd likely lift pictures of a legitimate watch. I would say "buy the seller first" and then consider the watch. WIth zero info - including fact that nobody by his ebay name appears in a google search in Seattle - you have nothing to buy.

Shame on those though that bid on it knowing of the rules violation. They simply perpetuate this kind of scam.

Apart from the schill bids, sadly, a lot of bidders do NOT realise that the listing is a scam or it is a counterfeit.
