RSC Servicing

I've got to service my Bluesy. I am planning on sending to the Dallas RSC, but am curious about packaging, etc. I've read that I can ask the RSC and they will send packaging materials? Is that true? Do you normally send the head only or include the band? Thanks in advance for any info.

Here's something I read before sending my watch in. Still - CALL the RSC and confirm everything. (e.g. I know you now need to send original warranty card for warranty work where this article says you can send a photocopy)

You have to send it Registered Mail or Rolex will not accept it, so be sure that you package it properly or the post office will not accept it..

It's up to you if you want to take the bracelet off.. If it's not included though, they won't refinish it... if it's aftermarket they will not put it back on..

Dallas RSC is totally awesome. Google them to get their number. Call them and ask for a box to be shipped to you for your watch. In 2 days, you'll get a nice little package with everything you need, including the USPS registered mail forms and packaging tape, as well as a wrist measuring tape and other items. It is very cool.

Ship it back to RSC and wait 4-6 weeks for happiness.

Caveat -- I only use the Dallas RSC for modern Rolex e.g. 1990 to present. Anything earlier and I'd consider using a private watchmaker like Ridley, Dalton, Womble, etc.
