Do you own a 16610LV random S/N?

I'm a bit interested in how many there are out there. I know that every owner doesnt read threads at this forum but it can still give me an idea of the quantity. For fun sake since I have one myself. Its been sold in Stockholm, Sweden///

Cannot understand why its just a case stamp much like any other rolex case stamp except for the extra digit.

I have to agree!

I can understand the fuzz if a dial has "Submariner" printed in red or an additional "Comex" label, but if we are diverting into serial number batches and point out missing serifs on the dial, it gets a bit over-crazy....

Which digit is the extra one?

In the random number or is there a G s/n in this model?

Well it could be a random.ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ or 123456789 or a specially customised one if you send Rolex your initials of your name they will customise a case stamp to match your name. All randoms are a total of 8 digits letters and numbers, only difference now extra digit and like all Rolex serial totally unique to whatever case its on whether it be 6.7 or 8 digits...

To be honest I am with you...but I'm a bit hoked on details. Since there are so many Rolex watches out there today I guess you search for something special With what you have. See My point? I wouldnt be less pleased With for example a z-serie or m-serie. For me its just fun fact...

Cannot understand what you mean by something special its a serial case number nothing more. And apart from one letter/number basically the same as most other thousands of LV subs. And Rolex have never made a series of any watch, the letters are approx year date letters. And much like the millions of Rolex watches over the past many decades whether they have 6, 7, or 8 digits..

I understand what you're saying but still I dont think its strange to be interested in details. I would like to now as much as possible about the Rolexes that I own. Even if its pointless to some people or as you can call it "idiotknowledge". Fun fact in my opinion if Rolex does some change to the dial, the braclet etc. Anyway you could perhaps tell me, was it between v-serial and g-serial the random came? Thanks

I like the fact it has anti reflective, however I would think they could do that to any watch with the bubble.

If any are more collectible than the rest it would be the "Y" or early "F"serial from 2003 with the flat 4 on the bezel, the actual 50th anniversary year. A random serial number isn't any more special than a G, V, M, Z, D, F or Y.
