Aftermarket tang buckle recommendations

Anyone have a good recommendation one where to get good quality aftermarket tang buckle - at a fair price. And ideally without any markings/branding would be my preference.

hey bryan, thanks for the tip on the strap in the other thread.

i don't know if these are the best or the best-priced, but, GSD has a nice selection of sizes and materials at reasonable prices (especially when compared to OEM ) that are w/ and w/o signature. click here.

I got a Pre-V Fishtail tang buckle for my 183 from a vendor on the web - http://tpdventures.ecrater.com/

it was stamped with Panerai and looked identical to the that came with the watch. I wanted a second one for a different strap I was swapping back & forth on the Radiomir.

Thanks ESM/Rennis.

As my strap collection gets larger, I think its time to have some aftermarket tang buckles pre fitted to make my strap changing a little easier. Its really bad on the OEM rubber strap which is a XXXXX to get on/off.

I too am looking for some aftermarket tang buckles, but I'd really prefer them to be "OEM quality". I'm not looking for fakes or knock-offs with branding, but in my experience most of the generic buckles you get with straps (even expensive) are cheaply made, and are usually cast or stamped out and just don't have the same fit & finish of the real thing. This is especially evident around the edges-the OEM buckle is very sharp and crisp, where most of the cheap ones are more rounded and you can tell they were cast and maybe given a once over to remove any rough spots, vs. actually machined.

I'd pay decent money for a decent one-especially in 24mm since I can't get OEM in 24mm. Any suggestions?

Closest to OEM is panatime from my findings, else you just need to buy and try and find out what you like.

I also think GSD buckles are great for the value. I found them to be close to OEM style, comes in 24mm, and much better made than a lot of others I've had.

Are they decent? I'm about to pull the trigger on a couple of Toshi straps (although I'm trying to find one used first to see if I think they're worth it before paying full price), but the pictures of the buckles didn't look too flattering to me.
