AD Visit

Stopped at my AD the other day. I thought my DJ , which sits on a winder most of the time, was running a bit fast. He put it on his machine which puts out a chart like an EKG and it apparently was running fast. He immediately pulled off the back and adjusted it. reinstalled the back and then opened it up again. He explained that sometimes when reinstalling the caseback you can change the setting. News to me. Since I don't expose the watch to severe water conditions I don't worry but wouldn't some kind of pressure test have to be performed to insure factory specs on that? He also mentioned that he wasn't sure if there were many new SS GMTs in the US yet, but that he feels that it might be the next Daytona in terms of desirability. I have a notion to get on the list for one. He said that they never mark up a watch over MSRP because they weren't allowed to! Sounds like there are some Rollie dealers playing fast and loose with headquarters!

David, I seem to remember your post recently, that you were feed up with the goings on with the forum and you were leaving and not coming back. What changed your mind?Hayman4353

Dunkin Jewelers in Mansfield. I've found them great to do business with.
