Yet another Loctite thread/question...
Well, after several weeks, I finally had some time to sit down, open the Loctitte red tube with purple prodct, remove the screws on my Daytona and apply some.
While applying on most -but one- screws was simple and you could see the small excess of Loctite on the other side and then wipe it off; applying to the scw that is located next to the flip part of the clasp was hard! (Yes, that is the 'one'). Here is the question: on that particular screw, the screw hole soes not extendo hroughout the link, so....how do I know if I applied enough Loctite? As always, thank you for your comments. |

Use a toothpick to place a small dab of Locktite on the threads of the link that the screw is going into, not on the threads of the screw itself. That way it doesn't get smeared as the screw is inserted into the link.
