New Ceramic Planet Ocean 42mm Ceramic Bezel Shots

I figured it was about time someone shared some decent shots of this new beauty. 42mm black ceramic bezel with orange numeral model # 232.30.42.21.01.003 all the way...

The clasp does look stupid as sh*t now, but at least they finally transitioned to screwed links.

Thats a beauty. Is the PO with the orange markers available in the 45.5?

Very nice watch! If I didn't already own a SubC, that would be the one I would buy. Congrats!

Very nice! I had the old model in that same scheme.

I saw that same one the other day and love the new bezel/movement. They had a significant jump in price through. I think the new ones are a few thousand more than the one I used to have.

Nice shots! This is the model I'm saving for next. Can't decide on the 42mm or the 45.5mm. I'll try both on when I have the money at my AD's. Looking forward to the day!!

This model will retail a bit over $6K pre-tax. Depending on where you buy from you should be able to shave at least 10% off in discounts.

The applied orange numbers are a nice detail and better IMHO than the old painted markers. I wish the numbers 6 and 9 were still 'open' though.

Great watch.

It is a very sold and nice piece. Congrats on the new Omega.

I wish they've made it a bit less thick, but I guess that is what you get with the Calibre 8500 and a 60 hrs power reserve.

I don't know what the weight of the 42mm PO with 8500 movement is, but I believe the 45.5mm version weighs in at around 250 grams with the metal bracelet. I tried it on at the boutique in NYC and it is heavy and thick, but it did not feel uncomfortable on my wrist.

Can anyone tell me if the color of the bezel? Is it a matte or shiny black or grey? Does the bezel match the dial or is it a little different. Beautiful watch! Very nice..

Matte black, looks like a dark grey in some lights. A very good match for the dial

Did I miss these?

These are some fantastic shots. One thing I love about the Omegas is that the sapphire looks non-existent. My GMTII-C was all about the glare and the gloos all reflecting off of each other. Drove me crazy.

My girlfriend said "it looks like I can touch the hands" - I love a good dose of AR.

Keep posting shots - I won't mind.
