About $200 more for the sub. But it is new in the box and the SD has no box and it is an 05' in good shape except for the oring dang it.

I'd get the Sub. Don't get a SD that's missing an o-ring... what else is missing that you can't see?

I would always take a Sub over an SD..

OK, OK......Maybe after I have enough Subs I'll let an SD slip in...

Hell, I'd even get a TT Blue before I got an SD..... (but I still wouldn't wear it)

I agree, I would go with the Sub Date as well. For me in terms of functionality, I do not really need the extra 3000 feet of water resistancy. 1000 feet is more than Ill ever need. A lot of people have chosen the Sea Dweller though because they do not favor the cyclops on the crystal.

If that's the case, I'd rather have a Sea-Dweller but not that Sea-Dweller.

Take it back. Get the Sub.

Assuming of course, it's authentic. I have some serious doubts about your seller.

The SD fits much differently on the wrist. Before you make a decision, make sure you are happy with the way it fits and looks on your wrist.

I like the weight of the SD, but the sub is a good balance of weight, height, and drape. The SD is very top heavy and sits high on the wrist.

Just my $.02.

You need to take a deep breath, relax, and do NOTHING!

Go visit some other AD's and determine whether you really want a Sub or a SD. That is a decision you need to make regardless of price, any particular deal, or any other factor except how the watch feels and looks on your wrist. Make sure to leave your money safely at home while you're doing your comparisons.

Once you make the decision, THEN pursue the watch you choose. Just leave that SD that's missing an O-Ring out of the equation altogether. God only knows what other issues it may have, and since Rolexes last damn near forever you should start your relationship off on the right foot.

A Sub/Date or SD,BNIB from AD.If pre owned,be VERY sure its from a reputable seller and its complete(box and papers)

The Sub is common,in numbers,the SD is different.The SD is more unique.

Anyone is a good choice,so is the Expl II,new and old GMT.

Any ss sport Rolex is a good buy.

I would pay more just for the SD.
Yet in your case, I would pay more for the BNIB Sub.
If you are paying that much to begin with, just get a new one.

That's a no-brainer, my friend.

An SD without the O-ring is almost likely to be a bloody fake!!

I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

Just make sure the Sub is REAL and then go for it - eyes wide shut!!
