Glad you got the bezel back on (joke). Nice bike, now you just have to practice and maybe one day you might be as fast as us Aussies i.e. Casey Stoner

Thanks Lol-x. You Aussie guys can ride the hell out of bikes. Stoner and Mladin are out of control right now....I wish I could ride 1/10th as good as those guys.
Yeah maybe I should've had the AD superglue the bezel back on!! |

I picked mine up yesterday. I have been wearing a GMT II 16760 for 22 years and I can tell a noticeable difference in the weight. The new GMT Ceramic is thicker and larger than my old "Sophia". But it feels fine, I expect within a day or two I will not know it is there. I really like the sturdiness of the band and clasp. Should have been done 30 years ago. Got the first scratch on the clasp today, sliding my arm across the desk, one of hundreds to come. The face, last night was the first time for a long while I could read the time, much improved. I like the red 24 hour hand better but I will get used to this green one. I set the watch yesterday with the atomic clock and for the first 24 hours it lost 2 seconds, not bad as a start. The winding crown---nice touch, makes using all of the functions easier. In my opinion with all of the other watches out there this one does not look " blingy or flashy " to me. I wore it to work today and no one noticed as expected. I am in the public all of the time and I probably have not had 5 prople in 22 years ask me about my watch, which is fine. I wonder if the ceramic cut outs, the diamond and the numbers are porous. Will they absorb oils and dirt? All in all a great watch, I expect to wear it for at least 20 years. my serial number begins with a Z.
Oh, I was suprised by the new box. It is way to large for one little watch. Of course no wood, lots of plastic. |
