How much???
I have been seriously thinking of purchasing a non date Sub...
The 5513 has always been my favorite non date model, but I thought maybe I'd save some money and get a nice 14060 or 14060M??? I have owned one in the past and happen to like them very much.... And then I went looking....... I was astounded to see how expensive they've gotten......And realized that for not to much more, I could pick up a 5513.... It's all madness.... |

They have gone up quite a bit! I would go for a 5513 if it were me.
You can find a feet first 5513 for $3500 and up for a head only, I saw a Meters first 5513 head only sell last week for $3850.00 http://www.hqmilton.com/index.php/si..._meters_first/ 2 line 14060m can be had for $3500-4000 4 line 14060m are 4k plus |

Do you like maxi plots? Or serif plots?
Depth rating in top or below submariner? I'd go fir another 5513 in a heartbeat. Just traded my 14060. |

If it was me. I would still pursue the 14060/M as the lume will work, it has the saphire crystal and you won't cry if it gets dinged up

Clay, I have noticed the price of a earlier series 14060/M has come down compared to 6 months ago.
These were sitting around the high $4k to low $5k mark. Admittadly these were probably close to new or BNIB. Still for a no date complication I could not justify the cost. Also there may have been rumors that this model was going to be discontinued, and a little price spike for good measure... Good hunting |
