help with old watch

hi everyone, new here! I received a watch from my dad, I hope someone here can tell me more about it.

The dial doesnt look right. Maybe refinish is it a 1016 or a moded 1500 with the date removed. Maybe the picture is too far what is the model #

It looks good dont restore it just service the movement its probably worth $3.5K
to $6K to sell. Keep it as original as possible for better value dont change hands or dials just a crystal if it needs it

I actually took it to four crowns watch repair in los angeles. He said the watch needs new springs, crystal (or acrylic), and service. Pretty excited about this watch!

I'd really like to see better images. Closeups of the dial, case, sides of case, etc. I've been looking really hard lately at the Explorers. That particular model looks like a 6610 with a Gilt dial.
