How will Submariner evolve now?

Hi forum members, what are your thoughts on how the present Sub will evolve in the future? Your ideas and wishes on this...

I think it will be years before they do anything to it.

It's perfect now. Why change?

Yes get rid of all the plastic stuff, remove the emblem from the crown stop all case serial stamps, remove the Rolex branding on rehaut. Then most everyones obsessions with alignment points on Rolex watches would finish, then everything would line up perfect somewhere.Have the Rolex warranty card/paper to self destruct exactly after the warranty period had terminated.Put a card in the box like they used to do many years ago on Rolex and Tudor. Suggesting ideas how to use the packaging box as a cigarette ash tray, paper clip holder, storage or a place for peanuts sweets etc.Myself would rather go back in time when Rolex watches were bought for one reason to wear and enjoy hopefully for a life time .

If everything is right with the World, you'll barely be able to notice any changes whatsover.

Bit extreme but I agree with the general idea. I really would not change a thing, though I'd be happy with an extended power reserve.

An option to customize would be stellar! Matte dial, no surrounds, sword hands...something along those lines.

I think the next thing we will see down the road is something to do with the movement (though what I don't know). The 3135 series is long lived even by Rolex standards.

I will never argue it isn't a rock of a movement, time has shown us that, but Rolex, like any company will look to the future.
