Sub-C & GMTII-C
Already have a Sub-C and find myself on the hunt for my second nice watch, my short list was down to an Explorer I or a Milgauss GV but neither really pulls me away from my Sub.
Now did before buying the Sub look at the GMT and it was a tight call but the Subs tool like look won. But I made the mistake yesterday when trying on some lovely watches, the explorer II (42mm), SS Daytona (black) and a TT Daytona non really got my attention... Well the TT YM II which they had did but that's out of budget lol I ask them to bring out the GMT and now it appeals to me the PCL's and the bezel numbers just set it off enough from the Sub.. I'm still left a little uncertain if having a two watch collection of a Sub and GMT leaves me with enough diversity ! Help guys :-) |

If you have a heart for TT try the GMT TT
It's a great looking TT and is a lot different from the sub and you will have all diversity you need... Either way go with the one your heart want... |

Give the TT a try and see if it does it. If you still like the SS version best you can't go wrong. Sometimes there no ryme or reason just go with the one you like the best.

IMHO - they are similar, yet different enough to be in the same collection.

I must be in the minority but I like the GMT IIC and think this watch would make a perfect addition to anyone's expanding collection!!!

Well said...

You can even look here for a TT GMT from one of the trusted sellers, that's what I did. I find myself with a similar dilemma - I have the TT GMT and am thinking of a stainless Sub C.

Agree with Eric- similar but different and go nicely together in a collection.
