correct watch case for 1950s tudor sub

i've been offered this watch case that i'm looking to put with a 7924 i'm negotiating with a private seller on. I trust the seller on this case, but just want to confirm the accuracy of application

i've sometimes seen this case offered as the "original" case with 7922s, 7923s, 7924s and even a couple of times for 7928s.

it has the original punch'd paper with serial 139XXX (in case i win the lottery here and someone with a 139xxx serial number is interested in the last three digits, contact me), but the punch'd paper has a printers date code of 1952 ("X.52") with a dealer's rubber stamped date of Aug 1958 ( i could be mis-interpreting the printers date code)

appreciate any input before i purchase this case
