A few shots of the '93 writers special edition limited to 4,810 pieces. The clip features the timeless snake in gold vermeil with sapphire eyes. Enjoy....

I have the silver clip model and I really think this was one of the best LE's ever produced. It is of course based on a vintage Montblanc model made decades ago.

That's stunning.

I had a MB once but sold it. My penmanship is horrible and a nice pen seemed like a waste for me. I downgraded to a nice ACME LE rollerball and enjoy it's heft and balance.

You don't have to have nice handwriting to have/use a nice pen.

I'm exhibit "A" for that

Beautiful pictures! Many thanks for sharing!
The Agatha model was inspired by the original MB safety pens from the late 1920/ early 1930s.
At that time the clip was an accessory that people can choose with or without. Also, the Agatha was only fitted with one single cap band which is simpler and more elegant than the current 3 cap band design. The round dome shaped cap top is conformant to the early Meisterstuck line. More or less they have re-created the old Meisterstuck line from the late 20/early 30s in the Agatha, very similar to how they re-created the 139 with a twist of coral red in the Hemingway.

Here's a picture + description of a #6 with replica snake clip in red/black (beautiful colour!)

and this is an authentic snake clip from the 30s

Ha ha thanks Robert!
That's the first site I goto for finding MB vintage pen photos.

Also, if you got issues with your vintage MB pens (old than 1960s), that's the real expert repairer, recommended by MB itself.
