I will be purchasing a PO within the upcoming weeks. First off I have a 42mm PO with the new 8500 movement and ceramic bezel on order.
Lately, I have been debating whether or nor I should get a 45.5mm. I actually had the 45.5mm Omega on my wrist before with the black rubber band with deployant buckle. I liked the size alot, but I felt that way because the rubber strap hugged it to my wrist and it was actaully comfortable. Now I want to wear the watch on a bracelet and that adds some heft and it also will fit differently. So, does anyone have some side by side pictures of any PO (2500 or 8500) doesn't matter which model, just looking for the size! Thanks! ![]() |

Seriously dude, you need to post up pics of that thing when you get it!! I tried on the 45.5 8500 and a 42mm PO in 2500 side by side and the 42 is what i want...however, I want it in the 8500 movement but haven't been able to see comparison pics or try one on yet. My fear is the height of 8500 will be too much...
I want the orange bezel...giggity. :) |

See I never tried on the 42mm before with the bracelet or the strap - neither. The 45mm I tried on with the strap (2500 cal) and I liked it but like I said in the post, I think it was because it was held extra snug against my wrist because those straps are comfortable and you can wear them tight well being comfortable. ![]() |

Here you go
Sorry about the crappy pic. I hope it helps you with your decision.
Here's the 222.30.46.20.01.001, which is 45.5 mm and the 232.30.42.21.01.001, which is 42 mm and may be the one you ordered, right?. They wear quite different, and I've found that I prefer the latter on a strap but the former feels fine on the bracelet. Good luck! |

any chance of a side profile shot? they probably are the same thickness since they are both 8500's.

you need to try in person
for my wrist size, i can pull off 45mm PO on rubber, but i can't wear it with bracelet. but if you do a side by side size comparison of the two, the 42mm looks small, also mid size

Beautiful - I love the 42. For my smaller wrist, the 45 is way over the top.
I'll have to check back in with Tourneau in a couple weeks - see if they get a 42mm 8500. I tried the 45 8500 on rubber and no-go for me. :( |

I have a 45mm POC 9300 on order. I have a flat 7 1/4 wrist. Should I be ok? I am a big guy.
