Stats are useless without analysis.

This is a little out of my league.

Can you help me out?

I think it is in millions of $ in 2009 swiss watch sales in USA were $1, 473, 000, 000
Asia ( Hong Kong China and japan) together were 3,635,000, 000 if my maths is correct
so about 2.5 times as much.
in 2011
USA were 1, 985, 000, 000, increase of circa 30% from $1,473,000,000
Asia was 6, 531,000,000, increase of circa 85+% or s0 ( roughly) from 3,635,000,000. now over 3 times the amount of sales.

Grady, my take is that the more people drink, the more they want to buy Swiss watches. Been there, done that!
