I would contact the seller since it has only been a couple of weeks and go from there.

There is a Rolex Service Center on Post street in San Fran..

If you like the watch, I would take it there and see what they say.. It is really unlikely that your seller had a proper "service" done just last year.. I hear that all the time... but without proof, don't believe it..

It's been 3 weeks now..or close to a month.. buying a used product does not carry with it a warranty, but only the good will of the seller after you take posession for longer than a couple of days..

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I'll leave the wath alone and have it checked out tomorrow at a local shop also I'll contact the previous owner today to get some info on the service he had done
