Servicing my Rolex and a JLC Manual Wind
I have a JLC Master Control 8 Days manual wind in rose gold watch that was manufactured in 2005 and never serviced.
I live 10 minutes out of Manhattan and was wondering if anyone could recommend a reputable service center/jeweler for this watch and my Rolex DJ ("M" serial), which I will get service in a year or two. I was thinking of calling Wempe to see if they would do it, but have a feeling they will charge an ultra-high premium. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! |

I would take the DJ to Rolex RSC. The JLC will probably need to be serviced by JLC. I would call a JLC AD in NY to see what they say.

Rolex at RSC. You could try Jack Freedman at Superior Watch Service in Brooklyn. I'm not sure if he works on JLC, but he does exceptional work on IWCs. Otherwise, you'll need to ship it to Fort Worth TX (JLC Service Center).
