Good AD in NYC area?

Has anyone had any good experiences with an AD in the NYC area? Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn or LI area preferred.
I am looking to buy a SS Sub or GMT II and I want to buy from an AD. Any discounts out there to be had?
Thanks in advance.

I bought all my watches from trusted sellers on here but when I was new to the Rolex world and had no idea Rolexforums existed, I stopped in Tourneau and didn't have a very good experience with them. Wempe is a decent AD in the city but it is going to be very difficult to find a discount on the Sub or GMTIIc.

Talk to Melanie Epstein at Wempe. She's fantastic.

Note: Discounts are very hard to come by there if you're a first-timer - they'll likely tell you the watches are being bought up by people visiting from China. Not impossible to get a discount, but very difficult. And Rolex SS models, forget it.

I use the London jewelers in manhasset. Good store, good selection but I doubt you'll get a discount on those watches.

You are better off contacting one of the many reputable sellers here. Just check the FS section for either watch.

Happy Hunting!

This is probably a good time of year to go there.

Discounts were hard to come by when I bought my SubC in 2011. They were so popular at my AD that they didn't feel the need to discount. However, I received advice from a TRF member that helped me get a nice discount. Check your PM.

Come visit THE new ROLEX Boutique in NYC at the Rolex Building
on 53rd & 5th Ave when it opens! It's being presented & operated by Wempe.
Opening day is less than 3 weeks away!
It should be ready on Friday March 30th!
There'lll be more Rolex watches on display and for sale than you may have ever seen in one official shop!

WEMPE is the best AD around. Forget the T. Bartmans on broadway downtown is hit or miss.

Interesting. I drive by there quite a bit and have never gone inside. May have to check it out someday.

If you want to drive into NJ Morre Lyons In Clifton, NJ has great service. The NYC boutiques selection is second to none (maybe Vegas stores) in the US.

Tourneau at Roosevelt Field Mall and Walt Witman Mall on Long Island. Both have knowledgable and decent salespeople.
