Titanium
Ok, I'm interested in knowing who currently owns a titanium watch.
The new Tudor Pelagos has got me interested, and I'd love to know how titanium feels. I like the weight of steel and have a concern that the Pelagos might feel somewhat light in comparison. Thanks |

I've got a few Rolex (Rolii?) and a Breitling Emergency in Titanium. It is surprisingly light and comfortable for a chunky watch. It's not so much the weight that you have to get used to but also the 'grey' colouring of the metal... It's not solver shiny like steel.... Cheers.. A

My daily is an Aerospace and it's just great. Very lite, the gray is non reflective and very sturdy. Also, the metal is very "warm" not like steel. Kinda strange.

I occasionally wear a PAM177, and love it. Big at 44mm, but light and totally stealth-looking. Panerai are tough to pull off well, IMHO, because they are often so huge, shiny and heavy, but in titanium it's low-key and still has tons of wrist presence. Interesting that Rolex has never gotten into titanium.

I own a PAM 177 in Titanium and it is the lightest and most comfortable watch of that size I have ever worn. Love the darker appearance too.

I had an Oris TT1 Diver, really light even though the case and bracelet were thick. The metal itself while incredibly strong is also really soft and scratches easily. Kind of counterintuitive when you think about one of the strongest metals. Anyway I sold it off because it was always scuffed up and had a gray tint that made it look off compared to SS.

I had a titanium tissot t touch, but I traded it with a friend for cash and then bought a ss tissot t touch, which I liked better for the weight and the metal color.
It was my skiing watch until I decided to take the dd skiing... |

I also have a titanium tissot t touch that is one of my daily wearers. Very lightweight and comfortable. I did however loose the spring bar to the clasp and now I am wearing my Datejust!

Have a Breitling Aerospace, you wouldn't know watch was there given it's light weight.
My Aerospace is not babied and looks great, given the new Pelagos is 42mm this should wear/feel good in Ti. |

I owned a Ti Fortis B-42 Cosmonauts with a Ti bracelet at one time and it was very light and comfortable. The Ti does mark easily but I believe it's simple to buff out. Some people say you can buff out light marks with a pencil eraser . . .

Titanium is far and away my preferred watch metal.
I loved the feel of my Omega 2231.50 but had to sell it to acquire the new advances of the SubC. A Ti SubC would be my ideal.

I have a IWC Ti Aquatimer Chrono.
I love it. Another bonus is that it does not retain or absorb heat like ss You can bake in the sun and your watch won't burn you hahaha

I have a couple titanium Balls......aw that didn't come out right.
Anyway, I really loving the feel of the lighter metal. Especially a large watch. Seems like much less "flop" and movement on the wrist. |

I have the first edition Nigh Train but really have been considering a diver or something tougher from their lineup.

45mm Helson Shark Diver for me and the (lack of) weight is great. It rides great on the wrist and it's amazingly comfortable.

I have had a titanium Bucherer for over twenty years, the look of titanium is in my opinion unique, pure titanium can be quite brittle but when alloyed is a lightweight and beautiful material. As an aside it's ability to osseointegrate allows us to use it for bone plates and screws and repair fractures. The two best materials to use in the oral cavity gold and titanium!
