Solitaire (James Bond Octopussy) pencap without star logo?
Hello from Germany
a huge James Bond fan here and I am asking about the Montblanc 149, which has been seen in "Octopussy" 1983. As far as I am told, they used a gold-plated (brass base) 149 and I am particularly interested in the cap. I can't see the Montblanc star on the cap and wanted to ask, if they did not use the star logo on this particular series plus would like to see a pic, how the cap looked like exactly. Thanks! |

Same here, from what I can find it was a version of a meisterstuck solitaire from the mid 80's in gold that was very limited,or maybe a prototype of some sort that was used in the movie. What we need is a screencap from the film to get a better look...

I have been watching the movie up and down but there is no shot possible to answer that question.
From a former MB associate, I know that it was a regular pen, which was handed over but he can't give me details how the cap end looked like on that series. His guess is that the star logo is missing - but it's only a guess. |
