New Rolex owner (thanks to this forum!)

Finally purchased my first Rolex a few days ago!!

Thanks to all of the great info gathered on this site I decided to go with the SubC - 116610N.

Loving the new watch and already deciding on my next addition.

Initially considered getting a SS Daytona (white face) but chose the Sub C because of the long standing love affair i've had with this watch.

In my research of the Sub C, I have begun to admire other watches that are constantly being discussed here. The next piece will probably be a Gold Daytona (white face) or perhaps a Gold Daytona (champagne face) - Model 116528. Suggestions welcome!!

I've also taken a liking to the Deep Sea but intend to dwell on it some more because of how similar it is to my Sub C.

Anyhow, thanks all for the plentiful info! Have been lurking here for quite sometime and plan to contribute as often as I can from here on out.

Pic Below.

Best,

Dmitrii

Excellent choice with the subC, can't go wrong with it, absolute perfection.

I also like your next choice being the gold daytona. You should check out the YG daytona Paul newman dial, its beautiful!

Thanks so much all! Much appreciated.

Snaggle,

Is the YG daytona Paul newman dial the black face? I haven't brushed up on the Daytona as much as I should.

Any idea what the best selling/most popular daytona is?

This is the one im talking about. Its my favourite Daytona, this one for Yellow Gold.

For White Gold, my fav is the meteorite dial daytona.

Thanks again guys!

Snaggle,

Love the black face on yellow gold as well.

My logic however tells me since I now have the Sub C, my next rolex should perhaps be a white face. Love all 3 to be honest (white, black, champagne) and when the time comes it will be a tough decision.

I agree it is always good to have variation in a collection.

I wouldnt really call it a black face, more of black mixed with red and champagne.

Also, that gold daytona and the SS sub look very very different...! So that one would also be good to have!

However, always buy what you like most, obviously, haha!

For the time being, enjoy the sub buddy!
