number of links and links adjustment in portland
Can someone tell me how many link a new Submariner is expected to have out of the box? Also, do you know a reputable location in Portland, Oregon I can go to get a links of my watch bravelet adjusted?

Really depends on how it fits for you. I don't remove any links and haven't had to size a Rolex since i started wearing them around 16-17.

I have 7" wrists and had 2 links removed on the 12 o'clock side. That said, your wrist may be of different shape so you may need to have one on each side removed.
