should i..

get a 292?

as some of you guys know, i was about to purchase a 339, before the seller decided to withdraw the sale, and instead got myself a 372.

however, i still could not get my mind off the 339, but due to the lack of funds at the moment ( firstborn due in less than 2 weeks! woohoo), i been thinking hard ( and dreaming about it) about purchasing a 292, for now.

i don't seem to see a lot of 292 lover in the forum, only saw a few, and are wondering how come no one seems to have taken an interest in the ceramic case. i just think that black ceramic case on a tan strap is marvelous.

so would a 292 be enough for me at the moment? whaddya guys think?

I've been thinking much the same. A 292 might be an interesting alternative.

the only difference is 339 has a slight brown tone to it which makes it a lot nicer compared to 292 which has no brown tone at all..just black and white..

Both are nice, I have to see them in person to decide.

292 is 45mm whereas 339 is 47mm size.

would a 292 be enough for you at the moment? probably NO coz you'll never forget your 1st love!

by the way, this me justifying myself to get the 292

again, congrats on the firstborn bro!

learning that a 339 if your first love, buying 292 will be somewhat redundant. because :

1. you will still itch for that 339, obviously you're the only one telling us on how it look better than the 292.
2. once you get your hands on that 339, the 292 will be a tosser (the one that you toss in a box and that's it). You can flip that 292 though, but dont get me started on the price you wil get for it.

trust me, it will not be easy for you to wear that 292 outside knowing that you have a 339 sitting quietly at home.

but then again, I'm biased.

cheers

honestly, i think 339 is somehow overpriced..if it were about the same price as 372, i would get it in a heartbeat..wouldn't be posting these kind of questions in the forum

by the way, did you go see jerry's wife and kid?

If you see the 292 as a make-do choice, then no, don't do it.

FWIW - 292 was my absolute favourite and I miss it terribly.
