If you're planning on a new digital camera, I'd advise a Nikon Coolpix, say around 4 mp which should do the job just fine.

Prices are down now and you could probably bag one for under $400 or maybe even less with Christmas sales coming on.

The Nikon Coolpix (almost any model) is a great choice for watch pics!

Having owned both, the white first and then the black....I assure you guys that they are both very nice in their own way.

Whereas the white is very casual and goes well with just about any kind of clothes you decide to wear, the black is more sensuous and subtle. It does speak out and say: Look at me, fellas, I'm an all black beauty!!

Yes, I do prefer the black over the white, although I'd never run the white one down!!

JJ, they don't make the ExpII in white... those are cheap, aftermarket dials installed by shifty dealers.

I give the white dial a lot of stick, but one of my best buds has a white dial, and he's mostly the reason I have an ExpII. It's a nice looking watch, no doubt... but if my markers and hands are white gold, I'd rather see that white gold, rather than have them painted black.

But these differences are what make this crazy sickness so much fun. If we all liked the same thing, life would be boring.

Hmmm....you do have a very valid point there about the WG markers being painted black on the white dial model. That was one thing that did put me off too to a certain extent.

I tried as hard as I could to love the whtie dial, it just did not happen for me. I think the watch looks better than any in pics, but on the wrist it was a disappointment. The black looks awesome in both pics and on my wrist, but I am not in the market.
