New Guy....
Hello to all, I actually just stumbled upon this server today, seems like a great place to learn more about the Rolex brand. I have been collecting British mil. watches for some time now and have bought and sold quite a few of them, keeping some of the more desirable ones. Lately I have been searching for the perfect watch to wear when I'm home with the family doing family stuff. I recently bought a new Sinn U1, liked the watch but just wasn't that comfortable to me. We are a very active family, we swim daily, take the dog to the park ect., so a good looking watch that I'm not afraid to get wet was what I was searching for. We'll a couple of day's ago I stumbled into my local Rolex AD, and walked out with a perfect 14060 sub. This is the perfect watch for me, I love it, my wife on the other hand....a little ticked off at the price tag, but she loves me and tolerates my crazy obsession. I have lurked and posted on forums for a long time now....MWR, Timezone, WUS, TZ-UK, and I am very excited to learn from you all aswell. Oh, here's a pic. of my new sub., this thing is fantastic. Something about the non-date sub. that just makes me smile, and it's so comfortable on the wrist.

Welcome to TRF!
NICE Sub OP! I really LOVE that model, and I gave you some comments on it in the thread you made in the "General Rolex" underforum.

Welcome, the non-date Sub is a beautifully simple design and about the toughest you can get. The lack of the date feature adds to the robustness of the movement. Just a solid workhorse and elegant too
