Yeah, I thought Yeager wore a GMT also, but from the Bezel it looks like a Sub???? I know I have seen him in other photos with red/blue GMTs.

I'm sure that by the time he was a full colonel, Rolex was hooking him up with whatever he wanted. After all, he wore a Rolex on his first supersonic flight.

I love that photo. He's wearing his wrinkly old flight suit with a #2 pencil in the sleeve, his gear over his shoulder, sitting in a prison-made US government chair, his Rolex front and center.

The guy in the pic above was the creator of Yaeger Le Coultre watches, a fine brand.

The gal in the picture was the creator of a few hot flushes on this forum. (edited version)

Man I have always loved Chuck Yeager. I would have liked to have a chance to sit and talk with him a few hours. The stories he could tell. He just looks like a pilot. What a contribution to US areospace that man made. A real hero in every sense of the word.

I like how he rolled up the sleeve of his flight suit to show off his Sub! Nicely done!

Those two pics are quite a contrast. Just goes to show the versatility of the Sub.
