New from tourneau 116610lv, has dial-up amplitude of 330. It is keeping good time. Should i worry? Thanks

If it's new and keeping good time, why worry?

330 is pretty high by about 30 degrees is on the verge of if not pallet fork knocking or gallopping. Rikki

On my (cheap) timing machine even at 330-340 I do not see any stars or evidence of something striking anything on the readout. On the contrary it seems very level and with the two lines very close together or merged.
Is this helpful to know? It is keeping good time, but I don't want to damage the watch. Thanks!! |

If it is in proper beat there should be 1 line not 2. Does your machine give you numerical readouts besides amplitude? Your beat rate should be 0.0 when there's a single line. Rikki
