14060 ---> 16610
Hi guys ! Could you give advice to me?
I have wonderful watch, 14060m , i bought it new from AD in Germany last year and it has empty(!!) warranty card. It is random numbered and probably has parachrome blue hairspring. The rolex 16610 was suggested to me today. It is never worn but the warranty dated 2010 is over. And of course there isn't my surname in this card... If you were me, will you trend 14060m to the 16610 with your additional payment in 1400 €? |

I would keep the one you got since I prefer that model over sub date.

I love the Date feature, but heck you already have a nice Sub. I would just keep the great watch you have if it was me.

i would probably try and keep the 14060 - unless i was dissatisfied with it in some way.
either save up for 16610 or new sub-c. someone once told me: never give up something you love for something you want. |

If you don't absolutely need the date, keep the 14060M and save up for 116610
Use your cell phone for date, that's what they are for :D

Thank you for your opinions ! But i need to choose only one, because I do not want to keep in the collection two nearly identical watches.. I absolutely do not like 116610.. |

are you unhappy with your current watch? why are you thinking about getting the 16610? the date? do you find you wish your current watch had the date?

I'm a big fan of the sub, so for me, I would not even consider giving it up for a sub date. What's right for you is the right answer. I have a feeling that the general opinion will be to keep the sub.

No way would I part with the 14060 for a 16610. Seems like you are a little wrapped up in the warranty, don't sweat it, you wont need it anyway.

If the question is "trade 14060 for 16610 plus 1,400 EURO" then the answer is no based on poor trade value.

While I love my Sub date and wear it more than ANYTHING else if I were in your position I would definately keep the Sub. If it's a date you miss then you could always add a different model with the date complication to your collection. Enjoy your Sub :)

There is not a chance in hell that I would trade my 114060M in on a 16610. To refine it even further: I would never trade my 14060M in on a 16610. I hope that's better. I don't speak Russian at all.

I see no reason to trade.

I bought my 14060M because it was my favorite diver. If I liked the 16610 more, I would have bought that instead - the two are close enough in price. |
