Ok, made up my mind...

I posted yesterday about "1st timer ready to pull the trigger" and I've decided on...*drumrollllllllll*

The Black SubC 116610LN. It was a toss up between The Black and 'The Hulk'

But I'm trying to stick to the classics (not that the other isn't)

Two last questions for you guys

1) How does insurance work on it? Do I just use my allstate guy? Average insurance price for the $8,000 watch? Do I add it to my home? I will ask him but figured almost all of you went through it already...

2) I read very briefly about possible new models, anyone know when those might come out? I'd hate to buy in a few months and then BOOM new models...

As Always,
Thanks

Nice choice.

On insurance, a rider on homeowners should be least costly.
On new models, you have no real problem for rest of the year. But who knows what will come in 2013?

Get a rider with your home insurance and it's about 1% to 1.5% of the insured value a year.

Congrats. Check out jewelers mutual.
The sub c was recently released so I severely doubt a new model is released any time soon.
Congrats again, post pics when you pick it up.

Hurry up and post pics!!!

Excellent choice (either one). My insurance with my homeowners is a little over 1% per year.

Good luck!

Your homeowners policy will cover jewelry including watches up to a certain $$value. Check on what that is. If not enough to cover the value of your watches, just add a rider to increase the coverage on Jewelry and watches......minimal yearly cost.

I pay about $300-350 yr for $50k in jewelry (which is dirt cheap btw). I use my home owners. Many on here use Jewelers mutual too.
