Which Rolex you own, if you'd lost it today....

.. You would go buy one the same immediately.. Finance almost permitting..i.e

I would for this one.. This one effectively removed all itched I have left for any other Rolex models.. Except maybe the 1655. But it completes the Rolex experience for me after wearing about a dozen different models. It is the essence of what represents Rolex....it's the antidote for me.

Are you asking which Rolex we would repurchase if we lost one? Easily 116718...

I would buy another 214270 to the exclusion of the rest of the line-up were mine to be lost or stolen. Not to say I don't plan to purchase others in time, but I would definitely replace this watch immediately.

If I didn't replace it with the same I would go with a 14060m, 16610LV, 16600 or a Milgauss GV I guess.

If I was forced to replace my SS/WG blk dial TOG, I would buy the exact same reference except with a blue dial. (didn't know the blue was an option when I first bought it) That's why I'll never understand flipping. I was captivated by the TOG when I fist saw it and like it even more now. In 25 years I've owned 3 Rolexes and only sold them to trade-up to a better piece. No offense to flippers intended.

I always used to think that the answer to this question would undoubtedly be my 116610LV HULK, but the watch that I just cannot seem to get enough of lately is my DSSD. It has made many of my other watches feel a bit less special. I cannot stop admiring it and just think it is the coolest thing. I actually miss it when I wear one of my others. So if I had to choose today...DSSD no doubt.

The Sub.... without a doubt. Or maybe the GMT...... Oh hell, I'd buy them both back without a 2nd thought.

I'd definitely buy my SS SubDate-C LN again. However, if it happened after August this year, then I'd probably get the new 114060M instead.

Thought I'd say my GMTIIc as I've just been away for a week and only taken my new to me Daytona, however I've only been wearing my GMTIIc for less than a day and put the Daytona back on, think that answers that one!

Anyone want to buy a GMTIIc

If I lost my SubC I'd buy another SubC. If I lost my DSSD I'd put the money with my watch funds and pick up my AP ROO this week. I wouldn't replace the DSSD with another one.
