Silver datewheel question.

I would appreciate a little help , could any of the datewheel experts tell me
... is this 1675 datewheel correct ? Come to think of it , it would be a great
help.

I don't know the answer to your question but in looking at it I was wondering why all the 6's and 9's are open with the exception of 26?

Justin , I seem to remember that the closed 6 on 26 is ok . I got this wheel some time ago , to replace a service replacement that Rolex fitted on my '68 1675. It then became a victim of my fading memory , coupled with the general mess that passes
as my spares box ...hence my cry for help.

I have also seen date wheels with closed 26 and open 6's and 9s as well, not sure what the deal is.

It looks good. The topic of closed 26 has a thread somewhere. There were only a few models during specific eras that had the open 26 if I remember correctly. My 1675 has the closed 26 like your date wheel.

I am sure it's fine just seems strange that Rolex was not consistent with the font. Someone post the thread on this issue if you find it.

I learn something new on this board everyday.
