Submariner M Serial Rehaut

Do all Submariner 16610 M Serial have the ROLEX ROLEX engraving on the rehaut? Or did this begin in the later models of the M series?

It was from around 2004 Serial F/D on some models the Rolex Rolex Rolex started on the Rehaut ring.So a M serial should have the Rolex branding on rehaut and possible serial too. Some models and there must be thousands have serial on rehaut and between lugs, but here is no definite cut off period for this.As now the newer models just have serial on rehaut and only know longer between the lugs.

On Subs it seems that Rolex began this sometime during the Z/M releases. Rolex does not stop producing one, then start another. There are always at least a couple of serial letters in the system at any given time..

So, It is likely that you will find some Z's and some M's that come either way..

As mentioned, at some point Rolex dropped the serial between the lugs as it became standard on the rehaut... Probably sometime during the M/V releases..
