Green case back stickers

I have had quite a few Rolex watches pass through my fingers over the last few years and only one has had the green case back hologram sticker (1999 GMT)

All my newer models didn't have any stickers.

However I have seen advertised a few models as unworn with seal in tact and have the green case back sticker present.

My question is do Rolex still use this on some models and what is the reason for putting it on some and not others

see this Daytona as an example:

Rolex stopped putting the caseback stickers on their watches awhile ago. In 2001 they started using the LEC instead.

Rolex got rid of the green stickers and hologram stickers with a special request from myself. As on many forums including TRF, we had more daily questions about the stickers holograms sticky back plastic etc, than the important bits like Rolex history and the watches and movements etc.If I remember the holograms started to disappear in around 2007,last appearing on Z serials. Once again thank you Rolex but now you have given many more case stamp hysteria syndrome with this so called random serials when will this serial hysteria ever end.

Maybe I'm incorrect Peter, but didn't they stop using the case back stickers on the watches as they started using the LEC in 2001?
