Rolex Daytona rare SLATE dials, lets see your pictures?

Starting to grow quite fond of the Rolex slate dial on the Daytona. I know it comes on the white gold models, but anyone mind posting pics of there slates. Would love to see it in everyday conditions.

:)

It's a handsome dial IMO, but it was (or still is???) available on TT's as well.

For being such 'slow sellers', it's a stunning combo. Love the slate dial color.

there are many nice dials for the Daytona and the slate is but one of them... i hate Rolex for making me want so many beautiful dials...

believe me, for you it's a slate today. once you have that, then you'll be eyeing another dial and then the enablers show up and following them shortly would be the TRF trusted sellers.

it never ends....

Apologies for raising this thread from the dead, because i have a question that i am dying to know what's up. the question is: "Why is the slate dial rare?" I've recently got myself one 16523 with zenith movement and SEL and i kept hearing from social media the word "rare" when they saw the slate TT daytona. Is there any reason for that? just wondering.

The slate racing dial with Arabic luminous numbers and red sub dial accents is awesome

Thanks!!! It's getting fitted today. I hope to have some wrist shots soon. This thread and my acquisition are totally coincidental. Now if only John M. would buy one.

That’s awesome - great combo!

Did you watch out for something particular when going for the acquisition? - other than the obvious (box and papers)

The slate with the YG is WOW! I think I have a preference to certain styles then I see photos like these and it opens up my eyes to all these beautiful combinations.
