Error Message: Forbidden....

This is driving me crazy....I am in https not http. Logging in, going to Classifieds, Search this Forum, clicking on Posts and the results will display without a problem. But when I click on one of the listed posts I will get this error message:
"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /showthread.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
I own 1 PC, 2 laptops and a new Macbook Air. SAME problem on all machines. I cleared all cookies and even used different browsers to no avail. Leads me to believe that it is a server problem. Any ideas? Thanks

The forum undergoes a reindexing of the database periodically .

If there is an index problem with your database record it will be resolved at that time.

Out of interest can you confirm that you can click/see said post when you are logged, eg a "guest"?

well, when I am not logged in under my username, the option: "Search this Forum" is not displayed. When I am logged in and use that option and some search results are displayed I can click on any result, when the FORBIDDEN error message appears.....

This may be a long shot Michael..

Are you accessing the site using a favorites link?
If so, delete it from your favorites. Clear all cache, then click on this link : https://www.rolexforums.com

Then re-install that web page back into your favorites. The first time (and out of habit, every time), when logging in, click the 'remember me' box.
See how that goes for you....

It's certainly not a server problem as you seem to be the only one effected!?!?!

Thanks, but I did ALL that numerous times, using different pc's, different browsers and even my Macbook. Consider myself to be pretty computer literate. And I am certainly not the only one with this problem. Look at the post by alanc, "Okay here is another problem....."
