My newly acquired GMT Master II

Good day everyone, a little background on my Rolex experience.
I used to have an Expy II few years ago, it was my first Rolex and was really expecting to keep it but then again found out about this brand Panerai and just couldn't resist getting one so the Expy went to the chopping block. After almost a year, the Pam that I bought wasn't really singing to me and I wasn't eyeing anything for that time being, so I decided to sell the Pam and just went on a get away with the family. Fast forward, my son was browsing through my facebook page and he saw this beauty being offered, he ran to me and told me that there's this watch that he thought I would really like. Hesitantly looked at it and there it was, a Vintage GMT Master II, this was mother's day so there's no way to approach the wife to ask for permission . That night we went to a friend's mother's day party and what do you know, the guy who was selling was there! Better yet, he had the watch with him in his car! I checked out the watch, checked my watch fund and so they say, the rest is history. Here it is, my N serial Rolex GMT Master II.

with some of it's comrade

Thanks for looking and this time around, this will be a keeper. Now I know where my collection is heading.

Very nice choice! Black leather strap looks great on the TT. I was wondering if that bezel insert has gold or silver numbers?

Thanks Dan. Will a black croc strap looks ok with the watch? Where can I get a Rolex buckle or clasp? TIA and great weekend to all.

I think so, especially with some custom tt end links from Eugene (etur).
You can find a 16mm Rolex on eBay but make sure you know what to look for, lots of fakes.

Sorry, on the road and don't have his email. Do a search on strap end link review. Then pm Eugene. You'll be glad you did.

Looks absolutely fantastic! Is this a 16753 or a early 16713? My dad has the 16713 on the Oyster, he absolutely loves it.
