Vintage Rolex Daytona

How much would you guys pay for a vintage Rolex Cosmograph Daytona with a dented bezel, a blemished dial, and no bracelet, a watch which can be brought back from the heap at under $2,000.00 in cosmetics plus box, etc? How daring are you?

All depends on which model AND what dial.

Even with all those "blemishes", the price may still shock you.

The last one I sold years ago...

And this would be many years ago, went for $5K with no bracelet, dial damage, movement not working, scuffed crystal and stripped threads on the case back. I took a 10% fee for moving the watch between two wholesalers.

I'm sure the same watch would command $15-20K today. Seriously.

Yep! And with box & papers...............oh boy !

The PN is a dream watch, but with the volumes of fakes around, I think that it's a mine-field.

So many variations of the dial makes it too difficult to verify unless you are not only a seasoned collector but also handled many of them too.

Rolex cannot AND will not authenticate them.
