Quality Control Check

I was wondering if somebody could recall an older post that outlines a "quality check" checklist before bringing home your new Rolex from the AD. I thought I had it bookmarked but can't find it now.

After reading the post about how the hands on the GMT-Master II - Ceramic didn't line up correctly, I want to make sure I check out everything before I bring mine home.

Thanks

First thing you do is carry a 10x loupe with you. Besides the hands alignment, check the DIAL thoroughly. Check for specks, flaws, the surrounds, luminova overflows, etc.

Take your own sweet time doing this. If any flaw has to come up, it would first show up on the dial.

Cheers - JJ
