Putting Diver strap on Bumblebee

I decided to swap out my Bumblebee's hornback strap for the Diver's rubber strap. Why? The hornback is stiff and not really a good choice for summer wear. I also find single-fold deployants uncomfortable so the Diver's tang buckle is a must for me.

First let's gather up the parts...

Let's assemble the Diver strap...

Now we need to remove the old strap and plots...

Install the new plots and strap...

Now enjoy a great looking AND comfortable Bumblebee!
(before and after)

Next project: Bumblebee with black plots, Survivor black hornback strap and black buckle.

Great PICs Mike.

The Rubber Strap sure looks like it would be more comfortable.

I love that my Bumblebee looks similar to the new carbon Diver.

Now that is a change I can get behind! Well done, Mike and thanks for sharing.

I have to say, the Bumblebee is growing on me quickly as I realize that a carbon/ceramic bezel is a must for me on ROOs for them to be plausible for me to live with.

I like the original better because of the yellow stitching on the strap. But this one is not bad either.

Nice match! Also eliminates the AP branding issues on your wrist too. Enjoy!

$186 + $30 shipping for the Diver rubber strap in the US... It's the 24mm tang buckle that'll hurt you - over $600 bucks.

I think the rubber suits the toughness of the watch better than the leather...just my opinion. Looks great!!

there's something to be said for how the color & surface treatment of the hornback goes with the case, but, the rubber is a must for the summer. nice change up.
