Advice wanted!

I am choosing between a Rolex Submariner 16613, between the years 2000-2005 and they cost an estimated $ 6,500 and a Rolex Submariner 16803 years 1987 for an estimated $ 4,200.

What is the differences on the models and which is best buy.

I have no great knowledge of Rolex and this will be my first purchase of a Rolex.

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Anders

I'd definitely buy the newer one.
The older one may need to be serviced, scratches all over, band may not be as good anymore etc.
The links in the older one is hollow.
Links in the newer is solid.

+1

Service=$800 min plus time
IMHO hollow link feel "cheap"
Finally the 16613 price seems a bit high, look at what the trusted sellers have here. You may find one right in between the two price points you mentioned.

Did a quick google search and some online stores sell 16613 for $5500 or so no tax nd shipped. Pm trusted sellers, you'll b happy u did
