Clasp lock on Deepsea popping off

Hi,

New member here and i just had an issue with the clasp lock (not sure if this is the correct term) on my Depp Sea whereby initially it seemed hard to pull and now just pops right off. I didn't want to chance losing the lock and the pin that holds it in place so I took it off.

My question is does this necessitate a visit to the nearest authorized repair center?

I'm kind of disappointed at the fact that this lock is held on by two small indentations. It comes off really easily. Not what I expected in a watch this expensive.
