Could a 1970 5513 have a meters 1st dials?
Just wondering. I thought 68 maybe 69 was the latest.

1970 is getting fairly late for MF ...
There are 2.3 S/N cases (circa 1969) out there with MF dials considered all original.
1970 is getting kinda late for an MF dial but not necessarily incorrect I'd say |

I have seen way to many feet 1st with lower serial numbers than this is the way I would look at it.

Although as stated above there is feet 1st with lower serial numbers I went through my records and found an original owner watch I had bought with letters and service papers through Rolex that I had a few years ago and it was a 2.5783XX m 1st.The only 1 I have had this late in the range.

I have this meters first 3.5 million case serial 5513 that I bought about two years ago well before I had any clue about meters first/feet first dating (I just really liked the watch and 1972 is my birth year). Later, after reading previous posts like this, I decided I probably have an earlier dial on a younger watch, but who knows (I had a Rolex trained watchmaker check it out and it is all OEM, but this was before I saw posts about the dating). I just know I still really like the watch.
