Need input on White Gold Sub

With the price increase what is the new retail price? Also do you find it odd if a Watch Salesman could get a 2012 from a AD and sell it for $9500 under the price of 34k? Would the Rolex 2yr warranty be giving to me or the Salesman? Thanks Guys..

I'll be interested in what others have to say....$9,500 off is like 28%, maybe not unheard of for an AD employee...but rare none-the-less...

The warranty goes with the name on the card, but if I was saving nearly $10,000 the last thing I would worry about is the warranty. make sure the card is stamped from the appropiate AD...

as long as the warranty card is properly filled out and you have it they will service it. It does not have to be in your name I know a few people who have purchased second hand brought it to an AD with the card and had their watch serviced.

Also on gold watches 20-30 percent off has been talked about before.

The warranty follows the watch - it could always be a gift. $9500 off a $36850 watch is about 25.8% discount. Not bad but you can do better with TRF sellers.

I think as mentioned before someone in a previous thread mentioned getting off somewhere around 25% off of an all gold piece.

For a NIB watch I doubt you could do much better.

When we're talking about paying over 20k for a watch, everything matters. A simple scratch on the box will get my attention.

Bought mine on TRF, saved more than 10G....it's worth the savings to me if the only difference is the name on the warranty card.

The best quote I got so far from my AD is $27000.

I paid 21K for mine about a year ago. Used, but the card was only 6 months old. Not a scratch on it, but no stickers.

I have a very friendly AD and I would anticipate about 30% off full gold without really pushing. He tried to upgrade my TT to a full Blue Sub on one recent visit. Trouble is, I'd want both!

Another question, Ive had my DeepSea buffed and polished to get scratches out. Can you do that with the White Gold Sub?

You can get the bracelet and case polished to get the scratches out. However every time they polish it they would take metal away and jewellers would not recommend polishing the case and bracelet often.
To me scathes on white gold and SS is less obvious than yellow gold.

I totally expect a hard bargain at 25% off MSRP for WG model is realistic at some, but not all, ADs

I too ended buying just after a Rolex USA price increase. I simply stated that they bought the watch under the old MSRP (less AD discount), so despite a rise in new inventory costs, it wasn't relevant to the watch I was buying and they agreed.

Go For It !

this has been discussed a lot here.... the end result is it is a case by case basis.
there is no hard and fast rule, they may honor it or leave you out to dry.
