Question.....
What is everyone with a new GMT-Ceramic going to do when/if Rolex puts out a new Submariner? I have a new GMT-Ceramic and I can tell you I wouldn't know what to if Rolex put out a new Submariner with the same type updates as the new GMT.

Yeah I know, but I keep finding myself with a bunch of watches and I only end up wearing the newest one. Vicious cycle....

I love the new look GMT IIc and I am in the process of buying a SD at mo...if the SD and subby came out with new ceramic bezel and a maxi dial I'd probably flip for one

I mean, I have a Sub and GMT II, and they each have their place. One is a beater, and one is a traveller.

I only have two and do my best to rotate them on a daily basis.
Something I have noticed though, the Explorer II is always ready to go after a day's rest without needing winding. The Sub is usually dead and requires winding. I wonder why?

I have a simple solution for this problem - I'll buy the Sub.

I think I'd wait till Basel 2008. That's what's keeping me from buying a daily wear right now. I'd love a new SD or Sub with the updates.

I'll sell the GMT IIc and buy...
more Kermit subs. They upgrade the Sub Date, and Kermit will be a thing of the past.
This, of course, assumes that Green is the new Red for the GMTs, and that we won't be seeing a switch away from the green GMT hand in the future. |
