All Red 1675 GMT 24 Hrs Hand

I am a noob. Are all red GMT 24 hrs hand original with the 1.2 -1.4 million serial numbered watches??

No, the all red hand is later. Not sure which serial range but defenetly later. I'd guess early, mid 70's something.

Welcome to the forum!

Usually the 1.2-1.4 mil series GMTs had the small 24-hour hand.

The all red came out after that.

If you look at Buddy Orchi's GMT Variants post (below), he shows one with a 2.7 mil case series, placing them as early as 1969-70.

Really interesting questions - along the same lines, was there an 18k Gold and red 24 hour hand? I've seen a couple here and there and have always wondered about it.

It is probable but very unlikely. I would say that it it has a red hand, it has been changed at one time during a service.
