Fake or Real?
Very important - just purchased this watch, need to know if it is real or fake! The buyer has lots of good feedback on previous rolexes but I just need to be sure. If it is fake I will return it for a refund.
The auction url is http://www.ebay.com/itm/290724607922...t_11983wt_1396 . Please let me know if the url does not work -- i can send pictures. Thanks all! Jake |

Watch & seller look OK IMO!
However, I'm at a loss as to why you'd purchase first and ask questions later???

sleddog --
Thanks for your help! The reason why is because there wasn't alot of time on the auction -- and it is not often that I find a dial like this. With the 14 days to return the item, I thought I would ask you guys then return it if it was bad!!! Jake |

Looks like it is real.... But beaten up a bit. The seller mentions that there are scratches on the crystal, which I can see some just above the date, but then there appears to be a pretty significant dent on the bracelet end link a the 6 o'clock side (easily seen in the second pic down below in the listing) Since they also mention that they are not aware of a recent service....there could be some significant costs to get everything running and looking nice.... And also if you are in the US, the seller is in South Korea which could cause problems with customs both receiving and returning if you choose to do so....

Hope you can get through Customs. It's illegal to import a Rolex to the USA.

GAHHHHHHHH.
Now this customs thing is a big worry over my head!!! Maybe I'll not even have the seller ship it -- I'll see what he says, he seems to have experience selling rolexes to the US. |

Love the dial .. Congrats .. Make sure you have a AD look it over, and plan on having it serviced .. better to do it now instead of waiting and spending more in the future

Please Help - Is this Real or fake?
Hi All.
I am new to this forum as i am in the process of purchasing a ROLEX MENS GOLD OYSTER DATE AUTO watch from an online auction seller in South Africa. You can view his items here: http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/seller/778466/eSWiFT I have always been a little suspicious as I find it mind boggling as to where he gets some of these watches...So have many carats of diamonds and look like nothing I have ever seen. He does however have hundreds of positive ratings so I am ready to take the next step as I have found the watch I want that fits my budget. I have included detailed photos of the actual watch. I will really appreciate any advice I can get about its authenticity. Thanks all! Saschin |
